This Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used on kukuco.com and how you can manage your choices. For information about personal data more generally, read our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files stored by your browser when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and tags. They can help a store remember a basket, maintain a session, keep the site secure or understand how visitors use it.

Session cookies normally expire when a browser session ends. Persistent cookies remain for a set period or until you delete them. Some are set by KUKUCO and others by third-party services used on the site.

Cookie categories

  • Essential: support features needed to operate the store, such as basket and checkout sessions, security, authentication where available, payment processing and remembering privacy choices.
  • Functional: support optional preferences or enhanced features, including some third-party or embedded content.
  • Analytics: help measure visits, browsing activity and store performance so the shopping experience can be improved.
  • Marketing: support advertising measurement, attribution and relevant advertising across services.
  • Uncategorised: the preference panel may show technologies whose purpose has not yet been classified. That label does not mean a technology is essential.

The categories shown in the preference panel describe possible uses; not every service or cookie is active on every page or visit. Where the law requires consent for optional technologies, that requirement applies.

Services used by the store

WordPress and WooCommerce support the website and shopping functions. WooPayments, Stripe and the payment method you choose may use cookies or similar technologies for secure payment and fraud prevention. SureCookie provides the cookie banner and preference controls.

Google and Meta integrations can use identifiers and event information for analytics or advertising features. Embedded media, such as YouTube videos, can involve additional third-party cookies when those features are used. The relevant providers explain their own processing in their privacy and cookie notices.

Choosing your preferences

Use the cookie banner to choose “Only Essential”, “Accept All” or “Preferences”. “Only Essential” records a choice to decline optional categories; “Preferences” lets you review individual categories. Essential categories needed for core website functions may not be switchable in that panel.

To review an earlier choice, use the “Cookie Preferences” control when it is displayed on the site. Your choice is normally stored for up to 365 days, but you can change it sooner. You may be asked again if you clear browser storage, use another browser or device, or if a renewed choice is needed.

Withdrawing consent applies to future consent-based use. It does not automatically erase data already processed lawfully. See the Privacy Policy for how to make a personal-information request.

Browser controls

You can delete stored cookies, block cookies or limit third-party cookies through your browser settings. Browser controls are separate from the site’s preference panel. Blocking essential cookies may stop your basket, sign-in or checkout from working. Clearing cookies can also remove saved preferences, so you may need to choose again.

You can also review advertising preferences directly with providers such as Google and Meta. Where applicable law gives you additional opt-out rights, you may contact us to exercise them.

Changes to this policy

We may revise this page when the technologies used on the store or relevant requirements change. The current policy will remain available here. Where required, we will request a new choice for a materially different use of optional technologies.
